The Scientologist superstar is currently in talks to star in Universal's forthcoming reboot of The Mummy franchise, according to a report from Variety.
The movie will be directed by Alex Kurtzman, who will also produce alongside Chris Morgan. The movie's script will be written by Jon Spaihts.
The idea is to revamp Universal's monster movie properties and create a new cinematic universe not unlike what Disney is doing with Star Wars or Marvel properties.
