With the world being more uncertain than ever, it's an incredibly tough time to be an event planner. Still, the Toronto International Film Festival is starting to look ahead to its 2021 edition, explaining that it's aiming to once again have a hybrid model.

Today TIFF announced that it hopes to hold both digital and in-person screening this year. This would be similar to the 2020 fest, which featured a mix of physical screenings and drive-ins, digital screenings, virtual red carpets, press conferences and industry talks.

But at this point, organizers have not laid out any concrete plans.

That said, TIFF is scheduled to run from September 9 to 18, so expect more details to be revealed soon, as well as the lineup.
