After launching with a slew of technical difficulties last week, the highly anticipated new streaming service Disney+ has again been the subject of scrutiny, now for an alleged mass hacking.
As the BBC points out, user accounts on the new streaming service have become compromised as early as its launch day — and are now for sale on the dark web for as little as $3 USD, ZDNet reports.
According to the report, hackers are gaining Disney+ account credentials most commonly through other leaked websites (essentially from subscribers reusing old passwords), as well as keylogging and info-stealing malware.
So far, Disney has yet to speak on the matter.
