While summer is the ideal time to soak up the sun and spend time outdoors, a bunch of new additions of Netflix is a good enough reason to stay out of the heat altogether. Heading into June, the Canadian edition of the service has loaded up on content for those days where you'd rather keep cool on the couch.

As far as Netflix's original series go, Orange Is the New Black leads the pack and returns for its fifth season on June 9.

Originals set to make their debuts include Glow (June 23), My Only Love Song (June 9), El Chapo (June 18) and Gypsy (June 30). Other originals set to return include Season 2 of Flaked (June 2), Season 2, Part B of Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments (June 6) and Part 3 of The Ranch (June 16).

New episodes of Chelsea Handler's talkshow Chelsea will also stream every Friday, with guests for this month including Salma Hayek, Mike Tyson, Jimmy Carr, Don Lemon and more.

In adding to their ever-growing stable of original films, titles set to arrive in June include Okja (June 28), Lucid Dream (June 2), Shimmer Lake (June 9) and You Get Me (June 23).

June isn't short of new standup comedy specials either. Keep your eyes open for Nick Kroll and John Mulaney's Oh, Hello on Broadway (June 13), in addition to specials from Rory Scovel (June 20), Chris D'Elia (June 27) and Marco Luque (June 15).

If original documentaries are more to your taste, Netflix will deliver the heavy-hitting Counterpunch on June 16 and the timely Nobody Speak: Trials of the Free Press on June 23.

Other films hitting the service this month include Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (June 1), Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (June 1), Morgan (June 1), The Birth of a Nation (June 1), Knocked Up (June 8), Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (June 8), Vacation (June 13), Shutter Island (June 15), Moana (June 20), Uncle Buck (June 22), We Are Your Friends (June 27) and many more.

Of course, a handful of titles are leaving Netflix to make room for the new content. Here's what's leaving the service: Django Unchained (June 1), seasons 1-9 of Scrubs (June 7), Dawn of the Dead (June 8), National Treasure: Book of Secrets (June 8), The Pacifier (June 8), The Proposal (June 8), Men, Women & Children (June 12), The Sapphires (June 29) and A Good Day to Die Hard (June 25).
