We're well into the dog days of summer, meaning you must've grown tired of the outdoors by now. Fortunately, Netflix is here to keep you company while you swelter in front of a box fan in your oven-like apartment. As always, the world-dominating streaming service has plenty of product to keep you occupied this month.

For starters, they're finally piecing together all of their Marvel characters with the arrival of The Defenders. The show, which sees Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones finally join forces, launches on August 18.

Comedy fans will be happy to note that Michael Showalter and David Wain's Wet Hot American Summer is getting another sequel series with Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later. The gang enters the '90s on August 4.

There are also some brand new series launching this month, with Atypical and White Gold both arriving on August 11. Disjointed will drop Part 1 on August 25, and Season 1 of The Mist lands on August 25.

Netflix also has some films on the way, with Naked set to launch on August 11 and Death Note arriving on August 25. There's also Icarus, a documentary about a Russian doping scandal, set to launch on August 4.

There are also new comedy specials on the way from Maz Jobrani (August 1), Alan Saldaña (August 4), Lynne Koplitz (August 22) and Ryan Hamilton (August 29). For country-fried comedy fans, there's also something called Brad Paisley's Comedy Rodeo, set to launch on August 15.

Of course, there are plenty of projects made by people other than Netflix that are set to hit the service as well. These include Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (August 1), Jackie (August 1), The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (August 1), Woman in Gold (August 1), Ricki and the Flash (August 10), Allied (August 11), Pan (August 14), The Intern (August 22) and Fences (August 24).

To make room for more goodies, Netflix is cleaning out its closet. You've only got until August 2 to watch Run All Night, and then you should have the weirdest movie marathon ever and watch American Pie Presents: Band CampDeuce Bigalow: European Gigolo and Notting Hill all before August 10. Sleeping Beauty leaves on August 11, and Goodbye to All That is gone on August 28.
