Spice Girls have been hinting at some sort of reunion as of late, and while future live performances and recordings seem to be off the table, the famed girl group are apparently totally down with voicing an animated action movie.

As Variety reports, all five original members of the group have signed off on their likenesses being used in an upcoming superhero movie preaching their "girl power" message.

Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell will reprise their roles as Posh Spice, Scary Spice, Baby Spice, Sporty Spice and Ginger Spice, respectively, voicing characters that each boast a unique special power.

"The Spice Girls are thinking big in terms of a franchise on a global scale," a source told Variety. "They're the most successful girl group on the planet. It's just what Marvel or Disney needs."

There's no word yet on official details for the film or a potential release date, and manager Simon Fuller declined to comment on the group's upcoming activities.

Last month, it was reported that the five women had reconvened to discuss possible projects, including a new greatest-hits album, a televised talent show, TV shows in China and product endorsements.
