The Pistolwhips Appear on 'The Tonight Show' to Help Show Jimmy Fallon Constantly Vaping
While Saskatoon-based indie rock band the Pistolwhips are hardly A-list celebrities in the U.S., they suddenly made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon — though in a seriously bizarre way.

During the show on Friday (February 17), a photo of the band's singer Rylan Schultz popped up during a segment involving Fallon penning a series of thank-you notes. While writing one of his thank-you notes, Fallon could be found saying, "Thank you, seeing my breath in the cold during winter, for making me look like I'm constantly vaping," with Schultz's image blowing out a hazy cloud appearing onscreen alongside Fallon.

Watch it for yourself below, where you can also find the show's tweet featuring Schultz's breathy exhale.

The mention was quickly noticed by the Pistolwhips, leading them to issue a video response to Fallon, all in attempts of actually appearing on The Tonight Show IRL. See the band make their vape-filled pitch below.

The Pistolwhips kick off some tour dates on Thursday (February 23), though so far it's unclear if that will soon include a stop at New York's Rockefeller Center. You can see all their dates as they currently stand here.
