Richard Price just launched his new Stephen King series The Outsider, but if we're lucky, we may see him return to his beloved project with Steven Zaillian, The Night Of. Or at least that's what series star John Turturro has hinted at in a new interview.

Speaking to Deadline, Turturro spoke of a possible The Night Of Season 2. "We have a couple of ideas, but we have to sit down and discuss them, so we're at that stage so that's good," Turturro said.

Unfortunately, though, he didn't say much more than that, giving us some hope of a return but only a little bit.

Back in 2018, HBO programming chief Casey Bloys said he was also open to the idea of another The Night Of season. The first season premiered in 2016 and starred Turturro alongside Riz Ahmed, whose character was wrongly accused of murdering his one-night stand.

"Steve is a little bit like Larry David, he will come to us when he's ready," Bloys told IndieWire at the time. "For a creative executive, that's a nice feeling because if Steve is saying 'I've got it,' I know he has it. So we're giving him his time and he'll come to us when he's found it."

For now, if you are looking for a crime-drama fix, you might want to check out Price's The Outsider, which just kicked off on HBO.
