Now that we've had our taste of the rebooted '90s true-crime classic, Netflix's Unsolved Mysteries, and with the second batch of six episodes on its way shortly, showrunners have finally answered the question on everyone's mind: when do we get to see ghosts?

According to creator Terry Dunn Meurer, the series will return with at least one ghost-based paranormal mystery in the second half of Season 1.

"We wanted to make sure there was a variety of categories," he said of the series in conversation with Variety. "There's unexplained deaths and a missing person and a murder and paranormal. It's always important to have a variety of categories — there's something for everyone."

When asked if the next six episodes would deal with ghosts mysteries directly, Meurer responded, "Yes. But I'll qualify that and say it's an unusual ghost episode."

Netflix has yet to share a release date for the second half of Season 1.

As previously reported, the rebooted series began streaming on July 1 on the platform, without its late host, Robert Stack, or a 1-800 number. Since its release, a number of cases have received credible tips via the series' new tip-reporting website, unsolved.com. Muerer estimates that the show has received about 2,000 tips so far.

Netflix has also created a number of social media communities for each case detailed in the series, so that fans of the show can discuss and attempt to solve the mysteries.
