'The Handmaid's Tale' Unveils New Season 2 Trailer

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 8, 2018

Based on Margaret Atwood's classic dystopian novel, The Handmaid's Tale returns to the small screen for its second season next month.

Today — just in time for International Women's Day — the show has transported us back to the totalitarian regime of Gilead where we catch up with Elisabeth Moss's character June.

The newly pregnant and increasingly rebellious protagonist will apparently spend the upcoming season battling to create a better world for her future child, though if the new trailer is any indication, the fight for freedom won't be getting any easier — just bloodier.
