Before they were a breakfast cereal and a multivitamin, the Flintstones were the subject of a beloved primetime animated sitcom. And the show is finally set to come back.

According to Variety, Elizabeth Banks' Brownstone Productions is teaming up with Warner Bros. Animation to work on a new Flintstones animated series. It's so far unclear which network will be attached (or, with the way things are going, which streaming service).

The Flintstones originally aired multiple seasons between 1960 and 1966, as well as numerous TV specials, spinoff films and other media properties. The show was previously being developed for a reboot by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane in 2011.

While we await more details, one pressing question is on everyone's mind — will the new show recognize The Flintstones and WWE: Stone Age Smackdown as canon?
