It'll be hard for Taylor Swift to come back from her questionable performance in Cats, but the singer-songwriter isn't giving up on her film career just yet. Swift has now been confirmed to star in David O. Russell's next movie.

While much of the details surrounding the project are being kept under wraps, TayTay is set to star alongside fellow cast members Margot Robbie and Christian Bale, as well as Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Mike Myers, Robert De Niro, Michael Shannon and Timothy Olyphant.

So far, the title and release date of Russell's film have yet to be confirmed, though the flick is rumoured to be called Canterbury Glass. We do know that the Silver Linings Playbook/Joy mastermind will direct from his own script and that shooting has already wrapped in Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

While all-star casts haven't always been an automatic recipe for success, the big names involved in this forthcoming project do make the affair seem promising. Stay tuned while we wait to hear more.
