Studio Ghibli Rolls Out Black Burgers and Eggs on Toast for Art Exhibit

Though they're basically finished with modern output, the Studio Ghibli fandom will live on forever. The legendary animation company was recently treated to some dreamy theme park mock-ups for its films My Neighbor Totoro and Castle in the Sky, and now there's something a little more tangible for fans — real-life food.

As Natalie reports [via Kotaku], a Studio Ghibli art exhibit is set to open at Tokyo City View in Japan on July 7. In addition to the visuals, the exhibit will feature some Ghibli-themed food.

Specifically, there will be a pitch-black Makkuro burger, which is named after the Makkuro Kurosuke soot sprites from My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away. If you don't like your food that dark, you can also get the mouth-watering eggs on toast from Castle in the Sky.

Further, there are some vivid and colourful Ghibli-themed parfaits available at the exhibit, but sadly they haven't decided to offer up the perfect ramen from Ponyo.

Check out some of the Studio Ghibli-themed meals below.
