Charlie Heaton Missed the 'Stranger Things' Premiere After Traces of Cocaine Found in Luggage

Young celebrities getting caught with drugs isn't necessarily one of the stranger things we've ever heard — but Stranger Things fans may have been surprised to learn that Charlie Heaton is the latest TV star to get busted.

Heaton is best known for his role as Will's older brother Jonathan Byers on the Netflix hit, but he was unable to attend the show's Season 2 premiere over the weekend.

According to British newspaper the Sun, the UK-born actor was denied entry to the United States after traces of cocaine were found in his luggage by drug-sniffing dogs at the Los Angeles airport.

Heaton wasn't arrested because the amount found was not enough to warrant charges, but he was detained and put on a plane back to London. There's no official word on whether or not his flight had a Netflix hook-up so he could get started on binge watching the new episodes.

Netflix and Heaton have yet to publicly comment on the incident.
