Once again, Stephen King is coming to the small screen. This time, it's for a TV adaptation of his short story "Jerusalem's Lot," and Adrien Brody has been cast as the lead.

Epix has ordered up the series based on King's story, Variety reports. Set in the 1850s, the Jerusalem's Lot TV series — not to be confused with Salem's Lot — will follow Captain Charles Boone, who will be played by Brody, as he relocates his family of three children to his ancestral home of Preacher's Corner in the wake of his wife's death. And while the sleepy little down in Maine seems all quiet, it most definitely is not.

Jerusalem's Lot is set to start production in May, with the series aiming for a fall 2020 debut. Jason Filardi and Peter Filardi serve as executive producers and showrunners.

"This series is an intense, absolutely terrifying reimagining of classic gothic horror," said Epix president Michael Wright. "We can't wait to work with the exceptional team of Donald De Line and Jason and Peter Filardi, along with our phenomenal lead actor, Adrien Brody…and of course, when it comes to horror, it doesn't get any better or more masterful than Stephen King. We're thrilled to be the home to this incredible show."

"Jerusalem's Lot" was first published in King's 1978 short story collection Night Shift, which arrives five years after the famed Salem's Lot.
