Spike Lee is officially giving us his follow-up to his Oscar-nominated BlacKkKlansman. On June 12, the famed director will release Da 5 Bloods on Netflix.
Lee made the announcement today on his socials, confirming his next feature will arrive soon directly via the streaming hub.
Da 5 Bloods will star Chadwick Boseman, Jean Reno, Delroy Lindo, Jonathan Majors and Paul Walter Hauser. The film will tell the story of four African-American vets who return from Vietnam to embark on a hunt of promises of buried treasure.
Lee both directed and wrote the script alongside Danny Bilson, Paul DeMeo, Matt Billingsly and Kevin Willmott.
