Because there simply aren't enough superhero movies out there, Sony and Marvel have decided to team up for yet another Spider-Man reboot. We've already had a taste of the new Spidey thanks to Captain America: Civil War, and now details have emerged about the webslinger's solo venture.
In an announcement at CinemaCon, the film's producers unveiled that it'll officially be called Spider-Man: Homecoming. As previously reported, the movie's being directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car) and will star Tom Holland as the new Peter Parker (don't tell anyone, but Peter Parker is also Spider-Man).
According to IMDb, the film will also feature Marisa Tomei in the role of Aunt May, as well as teen pop sensation and actress Zendaya, who will play Michelle.
The film will also feature Robert Downey, Jr. reprising his role as Iron Man.
Unless they plan to reboot the franchise a few more times before then, Spider-Man: Homecoming will swing into cinemas on July 7, 2017.
