A disturbing new report from Netflix should leave most viewers feeling a lot less guilty about their own streaming habits.
Amongst the most unusual findings in the year-end roundup is a UK viewer who subjected themself to watching The Bee Movie an incredible 357 times.
Right here in Canada, that effort was bested by a Middle Earthling who watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy's finale Return of the King 361 times.
Perhaps most impressive (or terrifying), though, is the user who managed to watch Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl a total of 365 times in 2017. That levels out to exactly once a day. Every. Single. Day.
Netflix itself expressed concern for 53 specific viewers, each of whom is currently on track to tie that record by watching original festive flick A Christmas Prince every day for the past 18 days.
There were plenty of other interesting data discoveries in the report, including the shows subscribers couldn't stop watching after just one episode (American Vandal), shows they enjoyed over prolonged periods of time (The Crown) and shows that they just couldn't wait to watch with their significant others despite promising to do so (Narcos).
As for whole-family fun, the shows that were most watched together by family units were Stranger Things, 13 Reasons Why and A Series of Unfortunate Events.
