Some Gross 'Ghostbusters' Twinkies Are on the Way

We're mere months away from the arrival of Paul Feig's anticipated Ghostbusters reboot. And while he's gotten every detail right, from the car to the outfits, it wouldn't feel like Ghostbusters season without some slimy cross-marketing.

We've already learned that the Hi-C Ecto Cooler is coming back to rot our teeth, and now there's something even more disgusting hitting snack aisles.

As the aptly named Bloody Disgusting points out, a food distribution service leaked news of a new, slime-filled Twinkie set to hit American shelves and subsequently ruin American lives.

The Twinkies have reportedly been dubbed Hostess Key Lime Slime, and will be available in limited quantities.

Of course, even if your morbid curiosity gets the best of you, you won't be able to try these in Canada as we haven't had Twinkies in years. Instead, you'll have to cross into the United States — the land of cheap cigarettes, 50 McNuggets for $10 and, yes, Twinkies.

If you're still alive by then, Ghostbusters will hit theatres on July 22.
