There are a handful of pop cultural moments we all remember as milestones along Donald Trump's route towards the presidency. Among them was his controversial appearance on Saturday Night Live. Sia has now opened up about her experience appearing with the Donald on the show, and while their interactions were amiable, she says her digestive system demonstrated it was part of #TheResistance.
Speaking with Rolling Stone, Sia explained that her time with Trump put the "turd" in Saturday as their interactions left her with a bout of nasty diarrhea.
According to the interview, Trump demanded a photo with Sia backstage to which the pop auteur said, "Actually, do you mind if we don't? I have a lot of queer and Mexican fans, and I don't want them to think that I support your views."
According to Sia, he replied coolly, "Oh, no problem.... Then don't."
She concluded, "It was as if he viewed me as protecting my brand."
Whether it was the musk of Diet Coke and McDonald's in the air or simply the stress of hanging out with a loud-mouthed badman, something about Sia's interaction with Trump gave the "Elastic Heart" singer and erratic shart.
"And then I went into my dressing room and had crazy diarrhea," she recalled.
