Shia LaBeouf Launches 4-Year Anti-Trump "HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US" Livestream Project

Shia LaBeouf has publicly shit-talked the likes of Steven Spielberg, Drake and Soulja Boy in recent months, but his latest target is none other than freshly sworn-in U.S. president, Donald Trump.

LaBeouf is making his anti-Trump stance clear with a new performance art piece dubbed "HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US." It's an installation piece consisting of a livestream, showing the footage captured on a camera outside the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, NY. The stream began this morning (January 20) at 9 a.m. EST during the inauguration ceremony and will run for the entire four-year duration of Trump's presidency.

The project is a collaboration with his regular art partners Nastja Rönkkö and Luke Turner, and they are urging participants to address the camera, repeating the phrase "He will not divide us" for as long as they please — "as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community."

The stream is currently up and running, and you can tune in and follow along over here. Famous faces like that of Jaden Smith (pictured above) have already graced the screen and participated in the performance piece.

LaBeouf's other recent projects have included his artistic hitchhiking experiment #TAKEMEANYWHERE and his marathon movie-watching project #AllMyMovies.
