Shia LaBeouf Reportedly Called a Fox News Host "Trash" in an Airport Lounge

Just calling it how he sees it

These past few years, Shia LaBeouf has, well, beefed with the likes of Steven Spielberg and Soulja Boy, but the latest figure to reportedly be subject to the actor's righteous rage is Fox News talking head Jesse Watters.

On the network yesterday, Watters claimed that LaBeouf had choice words for him after spotting him in an airport lounge while waiting to board a flight.

"The other day I was at a lounge at the Delta...Sky...situation, trying to take off for a flight with my family," Watters recalled in the segment. "And the actor Shia LaBeouf or whatever his name is — I think it was him, it looked exactly like him. I walk by, and he calls me trash, right in front of my kids."

But is LaBeouf's purported claim really inaccurate? Watters, whose Wikipedia page has its own 'Controversies' section, has a detailed history of racism, harassment and spreading misinformation — hallmarks of his present network home.

For all we know, Watters' silly gripe could very well be something akin to this Nathan Fielder gem, though not even half as funny. We should all take a page from LaBeouf's book and continue to dunk on dullards like Watters in real life.

LaBeouf's Honey Boy, an autobiographical film in which he plays his own father, is set to receive a wider release this November. Watch the first trailer here.
