After Ryan Reynolds piped in to ask the young people of British Columbia to take COVID-19 seriously, Seth Rogen has now done the same.
Over the weekend, the BC-raised comedian sent a tweet out saying: "People of British Columbia! Please do not go out to parties and BBQs and other large gatherings! The COVID is still out there! It's more fun to hang out alone and smoke weed and watch movies and TV shows anyway! Do that instead! Thank you!"
Rogen's message follows a call from Premier John Horgan the other week, urging BC's most famous exports to help spread the message to young people about the seriousness of COVID-19.
But despite cases surging in the province among younger people — and even with the pleas from Rogen and Reynolds — most seemed to ignore the warnings over the weekend.
