Seth Rogen Offers to Replace Morgan Freeman in Vancouver Transit Announcements

What a difference a day makes. Just yesterday (May 23), TransLink announced that Vancouver's transit announcements would be made by none other than actor Morgan Freeman. Then, today, eight women went public with allegations that Freeman sexually harassed them. Fortunately, TransLink may have found a replacement from a little closer to home.

Taking to Twitter, Vancouver journalist Stephanie Ip pointed out that a number of readers asked why Visa hadn't hired a Canadian voice actor for its TransLink promotion. As a result, she suggested Seth Rogen:
 
It was a funny enough sentiment, but it appears that Rogen might be down for the gig. He replied, saying that he'd happily step in as Freeman's replacement:
 
Maybe Rogen can step up to the plate and rerecord all of Freeman's voice work. That's a version of March of the Penguins we'd love to see.
