'Seinfeld' Fans Take Note — McDonald's Is Making Muffin Tops
If you think about it, McDonald's has been giving its customers "muffin tops" for decades. Soon, however, the fast food chain will start selling actual muffin tops in a move that's being directly linked to Seinfeld.

According to Nation's Restaurant News, the corporate behemoth announced plans to introduce the new "muffin topper" snack to select locations as part of an "elevated McCafé experience."

Of course, the idea really belongs to Seinfeld's Elaine Benes in the show's 155th episode "The Muffin Tops." In the episode, she sings her praises for that part of the muffin and pitches it as a standalone product. "It's crunchy, it's explosive, it's where the muffin breaks free of the pan and sort of does its own thing," she says. "I'll tell you. That's a million-dollar idea right there."

Since then, Seinfeld writer Spike Feresten Jr. has responded to the McDonald's move, demanding a billion dollars as payment. That seems fair. Watch his response to the chain below.
