'RuPaul's Drag Race' Star Shangela on the Shocking 'All Stars 3' Finale: "There's No Use in Crying over Spilled Milk"

Fans were gagged over last week's Rupaul's Drag Race All Stars 3 finale, which saw the show's most frequent returning visitor Shangela Laquifa Wadley eliminated just shy of the final two.

"I learned to make the most of every moment, because you never know which will be your last," the drag performer tells Exclaim! "Especially on a season like All Stars, where it's not just about the competition, it's also based on alliances, and it's also based on different twists and turns that can happen."

A shocking twist during Thursday's (March 15) season-ending episode brought back the eliminated queens to vote on who would take the top two spots in the competition. Shangela — whose winning track record throughout All Stars 3 left her with the responsibility of sending home multiple competitors — was instantly worried.

"Once they said what the twist was, I was like, 'Aw, this can't go well,'" she said. "The show itself filmed back in July, but we saw the elimination process on Thursday night and Friday morning. That's what really shocked me."

As an online bonus clip revealed the morning after the finale, only one of the eliminated contestants (Thorgy Thor, of all people) voted to advance Shangela to the final two. Her fans — some more famous than others — basically rioted on social media.

"Honestly, I have been extremely overwhelmed by the amount of support from my fans and the new fans and people that watch the show after Thursday night," she said. "I was as shocked and disappointed as they were… I felt so much love and I hope that this can inspire them to never give up in their lives and to give them that much love right back."

And while there's certainly been no shortage of queen-on-queen drama throughout the many-season run of Drag Race, Shangela's not looking to contribute to any more of it. This past weekend, she reunited onstage with her fellow final four competitors (BeBe Zahara Bonet, Kennedy Davenport and winner Trixie Mattel) and a couple of the girls who didn't vote for her.

"Aja and Milk were there and I was able to talk to them backstage," she said. "They both apologized to me, and I saw on their Twitter and Instagrams they were like 'Oh, maybe I made a wrong decision.' But in my life, I've always felt there's no use in crying over spilled milk. Am I going to hold a lifelong grudge against people? No, because when you have negativity in your mind and in your heart, it really only weighs you down, not anyone else."

Instead, she's choosing to focus on a jam-packed work schedule. In addition to her comedy tour "Shangela Is Shook!" and the upcoming "Werq the World" tour with fellow Drag Race stars, she's landed film roles in Hurricane Bianca 2 and A Star Is Born, filmed a video for a single off of Todrick Hall's upcoming album, and released her own new track, "Pay Me."

Shangela describes her sound as "upbeat dance music that makes you want to turn that treadmill velocity all the way up, honey" — so brace yourself before listening to the Ryan Skyy-featuring track below.

Season 10 of RuPaul's Drag Race premieres March 22 on VH1.
