RuPaul Working on Daytime Talk Show

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 11, 2018

Fresh off the Season 10 finale of RuPaul's Drag Race, RuPaul is reportedly set to begin work on a daytime talk show.

According to Variety, the drag icon is filming a pilot for Telepictures that is aiming for a fall 2019 launch date.

The show will be filmed in front of a live audience, and will see the spirited star interviewing celebrities, sharing beauty and fashion tips, playing games and discussing pop culture. Cooking and exercise segments are not expected to be included — which makes sense, given that we already know RuPaul stays in shape.

Fellow Drag Race judge and What's the Tee? podcast co-host Michelle Visage is expected to play a major role in the upcoming daytime show, as well.

RuPaul and Visage previously co-hosted a talk and variety show dubbed The RuPaul Show. It debuted on VH1 in 1996 and ran for two seasons.
