Rosie O'Donnell Sparks Outrage by Pushing a Virtual Trump Off a Cliff

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 19, 2017

Despite her striking resemblance to White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, Rosie O'Donnell is no pal to President Donald Trump. She's basically dedicated her entire Twitter feed to vehemently voicing her opposition to the U.S. leader, but now some folks are saying she's gone too far.

The actress/comedian has been encouraging her followers to play an online game dubbed "Push Trump Off a Cliff Again," in which users do exactly what the title suggests (though you an customize his downfall with an array of backdrops like lush green valleys, the streets of Manhattan or a fiery lava pit).

Trump-supporting conservatives have leapt to the president's defence, including right-wing commentator Sean Hannity, who released a statement condemning the "rabid leftist" and admitting that his camp isn't "holding our breath for an apology." They certainly haven't received any apologetic feedback yet.

Alt-right Pepe-supporting trolls and vicious Republican moms have also condemned O'Donnell's behaviour ā€” which, to be honest, is probably a sign that she's doing something right.
