Lena Dunham's HBO hit Girls is now in its final season, and the musical cues seem to have come full circle. Mirroring a memorable scene from the show's first season in which Hannah and Marnie blow off some steam with a BFF dance party to the tune of Robyn's "Dancing on My Own," last night's (March 19) episode featured a brand new song from the Swedish pop star.
The new Robyn track played over the end credits, and as Stereogum points out, Shazam has deemed the cut to be titled "Honey."
Robyn herself hinted that something was in the works prior to the episode airing, sharing photos of herself in front of Girls posters last week and teasing: "I think you wanna make sure you watch the new Girls episode on sunday for a little extra special something."
An eager fan has already ripped the audio track, so you can get a preview of "Honey" down below. HBO subscribers can watch full episodes of the show here.
Robyn's last official musical release arrived in the form of last year's remix project RMX/RBN.
