There was a giant question hanging in the balance over whether or not Adult Swim would renew Rick and Morty for more episodes. Likely in an attempt to dissuade the show's fans from having another szechuan sauce freakout, the network has decided to continue the wildly popular series for a while.

It's unclear exactly how many seasons Adult Swim has ordered, but co-creator and voice actor Justin Roiland confirmed that the show has been renewed for 70 more episodes. He shared the announcement with a drawing on Twitter, which you can view below.

Rick and Morty debuted in 2013 and aired its third season in 2017. Until today, the show's future was uncertain. At this point, it's unclear when the episodes will begin to air.
