Beloved moustachioed actor Wilford Brimley has died. Brimley passed away on Saturday morning (August 1) at his Utah home. He was 85.

According to TMZ, he had been in an ICU wing of a hospital on dialysis. 

Brimley was known for television ad campaigns for Quaker Oats and Liberty Medical (his pronunciation of "diabetes" was often quoted), but he had an equally robust career in film and television. He starred in movies like CocoonThe NaturalThe ThingHard Target and many other roles in film.

He also had countless memorable TV roles, not least of which was an appearance in Seinfeld. Other TV roles include appearances in How the West Was OneKung FuThe Oregon TrailThe WaltonsWalker, Texas Ranger and many others.

Brimley is survived by his wife Beverly and their three children.
