Scott Wilson, the actor most recently known for playing Hershel on the zombie drama The Walking Dead, has passed away. He was 76.
His passing was confirmed by The Walking Dead's social media channels. According to TMZ, he died peacefully at home in Los Angeles due to complications from leukemia.
The Walking Dead wrote on Facebook, "Scott will be remembered as a great actor and an even better person. The character he embodied on The Walking Dead, Hershel, lived at the emotional core of the show. Our hearts go out to his wife, family, friends and to the millions of fans who loved him."
