He started his acting career in 1989, appearing in the videogame It Came from the Desert and went on to appear in shows like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Boy Meets World and Friends, as well as films like Bridesmaids and Little Fockers.
Dane was best known, however, for portraying Hank the security guard (with an affinity for playing the blues guitar) on the U.S. version of The Office from 2005 to 2013.
More recently, Dane appeared in shows like Girl Meets World, The Carmichael Show and Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp.
