While in Philadelphia for Season 5 of Queer Eye, the Fab 5 — including Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk and Jonathan Van Ness — paid a visit to Philly's favourite furry mascot Gritty to give him a very special makeover.

In a new clip from the series, the famed mascot appeared for a full Queer Eye treatment ahead of a visit from his great-grand-Gritty.

"Famed Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty has been known to be... a little rough around the edges," Netflix wrote of the makeover. "But he has a huge heart, loves the Flyers (and Kim Kardashian), is loyal the great city of Philadelphia... and don't mess with those eyebrows, hennie!"

While the Fab 5 ultimately decide that Gritty is perfect exactly the way he is, the journey they take to get there is admittedly pretty hilarious.
