Jason Reitman's new Ghostbusters film is rolling into production this summer, and we've heard a handful of details, including the fact the film will star Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Carrie Coon (Gone Girl) and Mckenna Grace (Gifted). We can now add Paul Rudd to that list, as he's just confirmed his involvement in the film.
"I can't wait to join the cast this fall for Ghostbusters. In fact I'm sliming myself right now," Rudd said in a statement.
"I've been wanting to work with Paul Rudd since my short film opened for Wet Hot American Summer at Sundance," Jason Reitman added. "Thrilled he'll be joining this new chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe."
The official Ghostbusters page also uploaded a video from Rudd, confirming the announcement. Watch it below.
The new Ghostbusters will arrive on July 10, 2020.
