Original 'Harry Potter' Films to Return to Theatres This Month
Muggle moviegoers are readying themselves for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them — a prequel to the internationally beloved Harry Potter series. Before the new Eddie Redmayne-starring flick hits theatres, though, wannabe wizards can relive the magic of the original eight movies on the big screen.

IMAX and Warner Bros. Pictures announced that the J.K. Rowling books-turned-movies will be re-released in theatres for a special one-week showing beginning October 13.

It will mark the first time that the series opening features Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets have been treated to the IMAX format.

For those not up to date on their Hogwarts homework, the rest of the series will follow in order: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and the two-instalment finale Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2.

Special live Q&A events will take place in London and Los Angeles, though the film screenings will take place globally. Theatre specifics have yet to be detailed, though a variety of ticketing options have been announced, including single ticket, day access, four-show access and unlimited access.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will follow onto the silver screen starting November 18. Watch the trailer below.
