Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds debuted their Skeleton Tree LP in conjunction with a film titled One More Time with Feeling earlier this year, and now the latter is finally getting a physical release. One More Time with Feeling is due out on DVD, Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray on March 3.
The visual accompaniment was directed by Andrew Dominik, and the home release will also feature an additional three exclusive short films from the director — Bordeom, Do You Pray? and Snowman.
A description from the theatrical release of the film explains that the project was originally intended as a straightforward performance film, but it "evolved into something much more significant as Dominik delved into the tragic backdrop of the writing an recording of the album."
Interviews and behind-the-scenes clips of the band were incorporated into the footage of the band performing Skeleton Tree, as was Cave's narration and "improvised rumination."
