Netflix's 'The Haunting of Hill House' Is Making Viewers Pee Their Pants

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Oct 19, 2018

Netflix debuted its spooky new show The Haunting of Hill House last week, and as viewers are binging their way through it, they're taking to social media to warn others about just how scary it is.

Even Stephen King thinks it's a well-done reimagining of Shirley Jackson's classic horror novel — and that's really saying something.

Many viewers are claiming that they're unable to sleep (at least with the lights off) after watching the show, while others are having a truly visceral viewing experience and either peeing their pants or puking their guts out.

Netflix itself is even poking fun at some of its more terrified viewers.
