After two seasons of dick-drawing and poop jokes, Netflix has announced the cancellation of true-crime parody American Vandal.
"American Vandal will not return for a third season. We're very grateful to the creators, writers, cast and crew for bringing their innovative comedy to Netflix, and to the fans and critics who embraced its unique and unconventional humor," the streaming giant said in a statement.
Multiple outlets report that sources say the series could have a future elsewhere, with CBS Studios already fielding calls from others interested in picking up the show's rights.
American Vandal's first season debuted in September of last year, and was shortly followed by a renewal for a second season in October. The show's second season arrived on Netflix this past September.
