NBC Pulls 'Law & Order: SVU' Episode Based on Donald Trump's Rape Allegations

If you somehow missed all news media over the last two days and magically stumbled upon this blog post by accident, you may not know that real estate mogul and reality show host Donald Trump has been elected the 45th president of the United States. As a result, NBC has decided to pull a potentially salacious episode of Law & Order: SVU.

The episode is called "Unstoppable," and offers another ripped-from-the-headlines storyline not unlike past episodes of the show.

This one loosely followed the allegations that Trump raped a 13-year-old girl in 1994 at a party. Though it was set to go to court, the lawsuit was dropped last week.

As Deadline reports, "Unstoppable" was originally supposed to air in October. The episode has since been moved multiple times, and now it's no longer on the network's schedule.

They've revealed loose plans to air it in 2017, if the media landscape isn't a censorship minefield by then.
