After Mogwai recently revealed they would be scoring the new film KIN, the Scottish post-rock heroes have shared all the details of their soundtrack release, as well as shared a new song.
Mogwai's KIN soundtrack will arrive on August 31 via Temporary Residence. The OST will come out on CD, vinyl and digitally.
As previously reported, the sci-fi/crime drama was directed by Jonathan and Josh Baker and will also see release August 31. KIN stars Jack Reynor, Zoë Kravitz, Carrie Coon, Dennis Quaid and James Franco.
Of the soundtrack, Mogwai's Stuart Braithwaite said in a statement: "We were really excited to be asked to record the original score for Jonathan and Josh Baker's debut movie KIN. It was amazing to do a project that was so different to anything we've done before and see how our music fits in a totally different environment to how it's been used before. The music in the film is some of my favourite Mogwai has ever made and we can't wait for people to hear it."
We already heard the soundtrack's "Donuts," but now you can also dig into "We're Not Done (End Title)" at the bottom of the page.
