Michael Moore Invites Whistleblowers to Expose the President on His New Website "TrumpiLeaks"

With Donald Trump in the White House, Michael Moore's activism-as-entertainment is as relevant as ever. The filmmaker made a last-minute movie about the president, and now he hopes to take him down with a new whistleblower site.

Moore has officially launched "TrumpiLeaks," a site that utilizes "high-powered encryption technology to enable courageous whistleblowers." The hope is that people will share incriminating documents with Moore, who will then use them to take Trump down.

"Patriotic Americans in government, law enforcement or the private sector with knowledge of crimes, breaches of public trust and misconduct committed by Donald J. Trump and his associates are needed to blow the whistle in the name of protecting the United States of America from tyranny," Moore wrote in a piece on the Huffington Post.

"The power and the importance of whistleblowing is part of the American tradition and as old as the republic itself," Moore added. Somewhat ironically, he went on to quote Vice President Mike Pence, who has spoken out in support of whistleblowers in the past.

"Compelling reporters to testify, and in particular, compelling reporters to reveal the identity of confidential sources, intrudes on the newsgathering process and hurts the public," Pence said. "Without the assurance of confidentiality, many whistleblowers will simply refuse to come forward, and reporters will be unable to provide the American public with the information they need to make decisions as an informed electorate."

Whistleblowers are encouraged to submit documents, photographs and audio or video recordings here. If there really is a Trump sex tape floating around, here's hoping this is how it gets, er, leaked.
