Earlier this year, Matt Groening returned with his third animated series Disenchantment. The project marked his first collaboration with Netflix, and apparently it went well because the streaming service has committed to three more seasons.

Disenchantment had originally been picked up for two seasons, but Netflix has now added on another two. That's 30 more episodes, with 10 set to come out each year from 2019 to 2021.

"We're excited to continue this epic journey with Netflix," Groening said in a statement. "Stay tuned for more cranked-up suspense, infuriating plot twists, and beloved characters getting knocked off."
