Margot Robbie's Standalone 'Suicide Squad' Spinoff Has an Absolutely Awful Title

Get ready for 'Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)'

As previously reported, Margot Robbie is set to reprise her Suicide Squad role with a standalone Harley Quinn film. Lest you thought they'd tone down the corniness of the first film, Robbie has revealed the film's garbled mess of a title.

As per her Instagram (embedded below), the movie is called Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). Yes, it's 68 characters long and can't possibly be read without imagining a fedora being hat-tipped.

Oh, and it's not a joke — The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that this is the actual title.

The film sees Harley assemble a girl gang (rounded out by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez and Ella Jay Basco) to fight Black Mask, played by Ewan McGregor.

The Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Adventures of Harley Quinn or whatever will arrive in theatres on February 7, 2020. That gives them plenty of time to tone down the title before then.
