The Lumineers have announced they will be premiering their new film III at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The Kevin Phillips-directed film is a visual exploration of the band's upcoming album of the same name, and it will premiere at TIFF on September 8. Right now, though, watch the trailer down below.

Starring Anna Cordell, Nick Stahl and Charlie Tahan, the Portland-shot III follows a working-class American family, originally inspired by the Lumineers' vocalist Wesley Shultz's own real-life family members.

Shultz had this to say about the 44-minute film:

This short film is about a member of my family whose battle with addiction has led her to rehab, jail, and ultimately homeless now, for over a year. We were attempting to make a short film with the album serving as our narrator. I never dreamed it would be premiered at one of the top international film festivals in the world.

The film will be screened at 3 p.m. on September 8 at TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto. The Lumineers are set to perform following the screening and a Q&A session.

The band's new album III will arrive September 13 via Dualtone. It marks the first record with Lauren Jacobsen as an official member of the band and the most recent album since 2016's Cleopatra. The album's first single "Gloria" was released back in April.

The Lumineers are currently on tour in support of III.
