Call Me By Your Name filmmaker Luca Guadagnino is coming to HBO for a new series. Called We Are Who We Are, the director's latest project — his first since 2018's Suspiria and the 2019 short film The Staggering Girl — will arrive in September, and we've just got our first teaser.

The new series will consist of eight episodes and star Jack Dylan Grazer and Jordan Kristine Seamón. You can get a glimpse of the pair in the newly shared teaser below.

Of We Are Who We Are, HBO offers up the following:

A story about two American kids who live on a U.S. military base in Italy, the series explores friendship, first-love, identity, and immerses the audience in all the messy exhilaration and anguish of being a teenager — a story which could happen anywhere in the world, but in this case, happens in this little slice of America in Italy.

Other cast members include Chloë Sevigny, Kid Cudi, Alice Braga, Francesca Scorsese, Corey Knight, Beatrice Barichella, Ben Taylor and Sebastiano Pigazzi.

Guadagnino created the series and directed all eight episodes. He wrote the series with Paolo Giordano and Francesca Manier and also serves as executive producer.
