In honour of Earth Day's 50th anniversary earlier this week, actor Danny DeVito revisited Dr. Seuss's classic 1971 picture book, The Lorax, for a special virtual reading.
The 75-year-old actor presented the reading from the comfort of his home while in lockdown on Wednesday (April 22), reciting the cautionary children's book that is now even more relevant than it was back when it was published.

The Lorax tells the story, in a playful and hopeful way, of the beautiful Truffula Trees and the danger of taking our earth for granted. The book teaches us that just one small seed, or one small child, can make a difference.
Seuss's children's book tells the tale of environmental destruction and the Lorax, who "speaks for the trees." DeVito played the titular character back in 2012 for the book's movie adaptation.
