'Law & Order' Director Jason "Jace" Alexander Arrested in Child Porn Bust
Actor and director Jason "Jace" Alexander is perhaps best known for directing 32 episodes of Law & Order. Now, however, he's become entangled in the real-life legal system after being arrested for alleged possession of child pornography.

The Hollywood Reporter points to a press release from the DA's office (which appears to be geoblocked from access in Canada) revealing that Alexander was arrested earlier today (July 29) on child porn charges.

He was charged with felony counts of promoting a sexual performance by a hold and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.

The DA reportedly began its investigation on July 24, after Alexander's IP address was associated with the file-sharing of obscene sexual materials featuring children below the age of 18. His home was searched, and the DA report reveals that "examination of computers and external hard drives removed from the location revealed digital files of children who are less than sixteen years of age engaged in child pornography."

Alexander's bail has been set at $10,000. He is due in court on November 19 and faces a maximum sentence of seven years in jail if convicted.
