Following the massive success of A Star Is Born, Lady Gaga has landed her next big film role — and it's for the upcoming movie by cinematic hero Ridley Scott.

Gaga is set to star in Scott's movie about the Gucci family fashion dynasty and the murder of founder Guccio Gucci's grandson, Variety reports. Gaga will portray Patrizia Reggiani, the infamous ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci also known as the Black Widow.

After being left by Maurizio Gucci for a younger woman in 1985 after 12 years of marriage, Reggiani was convicted of orchestrating her ex-husband's assassination outside his Italy office in 1995. This landed her with an 18-year prison sentence and that Black Widow nickname.

This will mark Gaga's first feature film role since A Star Is Born, while Scott — known for such classics as Alien and Blade Runner — last released his film All the Money in the World.

Scott is also producing the film about the Gucci saga, with the movie being based on Sara Gay Forden's book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed. It's unclear as of press time what the exact title of the Gucci film will be or when it might see release.
