Kristen Bell has announced plans to launch her own new line of CBD skincare products, Happy Dance, later this year. The project comes as a collaboration between Bell and CBD edibles/topicals retailer, Lord Jones.
"I first discovered Lord Jones CBD products two years ago and have been using them ever since," Bell told People. "I was skeptical at first, but was quickly blown away by the quality, integrity and consistency in all of the products."
She continued: "We aligned on a shared desire to make a CBD line that would be accessible to a wider audience at a lower price point, while maintaining the same trusted quality as the Lord Jones brand."
Lord Jones founders Robert Rosenheck and Cindy Capobianco added, "We always knew we wanted to create a more affordable line to introduce CBD to a broader audience and it was Kristen's vision to create a CBD skincare line for working moms as an everyday self-care essential."
Happy Dance aims to provide affordable access to CBD skincare/cosmetics products. Lord Jones' current line of CBD skincare products ranges in price from $60 USD for a body lotion to $100 USD for something called "Royal Oil." Let's hope Bell's line comes in well under those prices.
So far, the line has not announced any individual products, but Bell promises that her skincare expertise will go into every item. The retailer's webstore is scheduled to launch sometime this fall.
"Self-care shouldn't be an event," Bell said. "Self-care should consist of everyday pick-me-ups that can be integrated into one's daily routine."
